Corliss Resources is looking to hire a Driver Field Supervisor. The Field Service Supervisor’s key responsibility is to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of aggregates and soils to our customers by assisting with the supervision of drivers, and administering the safety, environmental, and employee relations programs for the Company. This includes having a presence on customer job sites as well at our plants.
Location: Sumner, WA
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Position Type: Full-time
Pay: DOE, Starts at $95,000 per year.

General Duties:
- Direct supervision of hourly drivers to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of product to customer sites.
- Participate in recruitment, discipline, training, and daily work direction.
- Work closely with Dispatch, Operations and Sales to monitor driver performance, manage customer requirement and ensure proper staffing needed provide quality delivery.
- Administer the safety program including monthly safety meetings, tool box talks, etc..
- Ensure environmental compliance and assist with spill responses at job sites
- Interact with key customers in the field regarding delivery and quality issues; liaise with customers during pre-pour meetings and high volume jobs to ensure trucks are routed efficiently.
- Establish good working relationships with on-site project managers, superintendents, foremen and work crews.
- Respond to public issues and complaints in the field.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High school diploma required.
- Commercial driver’s license required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ready mix, aggregate and soil delivery procedures, including knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations such as DOT and FMCSA.
- 1 to 2 years employee supervisory experience.
- Must have excellent computer skills, report writing and system functionality.
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Sharp critical thinking and analytical skills
- Highly dependable, ability to work in a fast paced environment
